What Causes Nasal Regurgitation Of Liquids?

My daughter had a weird experience, about 20 minutes after drinking a cup of coffee it ran out of her nose ( the whole cup of liquid) it truly frightened her. She is 49 years of age . Her main health problem is attacks of vertigo. Other than that is quite healthy. Thanking you for a reply.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that your daughter may be suffering from the palatal paralysis.
To rule out the cause of the palatal paralysis, your daughter may go for
1. Complete head, neck and ENT examination.
2. Blood sugar and blood pressure measurements.
3. Vestibular battery test to rule out the cause of vertigo.

Thanks
