Hello,

You have missed your periods and its almost 3 weeks now. You feel sick and your stomach feels larger in size then before. You have not mentioned anything about your sexual life or if you are on any contraceptive device. However, if you are active in your sex life and have been having unprotected sex and are not on regular CP or did not take any emergency CP after unprotected intercourse then you can be pregnant. You are suggested to get your pregnancy test done with your first morning mid stream urine.

Get clinically examined by a Gynae to detect bulky uterus. If needed your gynecologist may want you to do USG (Uterus and fallopian tube) to confirm pregnancy, study the gestational age of the fetus and to rule out ectopic pregnancy. Do not take stress, stay away from addictions if any. You will be treated accordingly. Other factors that may cause missed periods are anemia, poor general health condition, stress, PCOS, hormonal imbalances, thyroid dysfunction, etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Your symptoms do suggest possible pregnancy. If your period is delayed by more than 8 days, you should test for pregnancy by home pregnancy testing kit. You have to test your urine sample using this kit. In case it shows two red lines after putting your urine drops. You are pregnant. Meet your gynecologist for further advice.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
