General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I suspect her to have menstrual irregularity The positive pregnancy test seems to be false positive)caused due to contamination of urine by traces of blood) as she started her periods within 4 hours of this. I would suggest to get her investigated for her menstrual irregularity with her compete, CBC / USG pelvis (to rule out PCOD / ovarian cyst), or Thyroid function test. Specific management by an expert gynecologist would help her as soon as the basic cause is found.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
