Hello,

Return of ovulation after stopping hormone contraception takes 1 or 2 cycles. If you failed to attain natural periods after cessation of the pills, you have to get assessed for hormone imbalance. A complete clinical evaluation, hormone assay, a transvaginal sonogram, blood counts and urinalysis are needed. Please maintain a healthy diet, a healthy weight, and regular exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam
