Hi am pregnant with my second baby and am 10 weeks now.in my 7 the week I have mild spotting and my doctor advised me to take susten 200 vaginally.i took it for two weeks and the spotting stopped .then I stopped taking it.but last week wen I went she asked me to continue to take it till 14 weeks.but I haven t taken it for some 3 weeks.but I have no spotting or bleeding.will it affect my baby.what is the significance of this progesterone inserts

Therefore, you should continue with the medication until 14-16 weeks when the placenta takes over the function of sustaining the pregnancy from the corpus luteum.
