What Causes Mild Sprain Of The Proximal Collateral Ligament?

I am male 37yr old with no allergies or any chronic disease recently I met with an accident wherein I injured my knee joint doctor advised me for an MRI yesterday I received the below mentioned conclusions From the report (There is tear of the middle one-third of the ACL with associated marrow contusions in the posterolateral tibial plateau and both femoral condyles and small subchondrol fracture in lateral femoral condyle 2) Mild sprain of the proximal medial collateral ligament is seen 3) there is marked joint effusion extending in the supra patellar bursa with few thick septae. Please I request to provide the next steps to recover from the above mentioned results I do not want a surgery I will be grateful and thankful for the suggestion and the prescription regards pk
