Hi,

There are several causes of the pain in the left chest, for example, the cardiac diseases can cause pain with a sense of heaviness. Whereas the lung and plural diseases can cause localized pain with inspiration. Some drugs for treating migraine such as Sumatriptan can cause vasoconstriction of the coronary arteries resulting in chest pain. Anxiety can cause chest pain. Therefore, you should do some investigations to exclude the organic causes of the chest pain, then you need to learn how to deal with your anxiety.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
