What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth And Chronic Hives In Children?
My 10 year old daughter has juvenile arthritis. We just recently found out her bilirubin levels are high(total is 2.4). For the last several months we have been battling a metal taste in her mouth and chronic hives. Could this be related to the liver?

The liver could cause this situation. But I recommend also checking iron, vitamin B12 and vitamin B1 plasma levels for possible deficiency.
