What Causes Lumps On The Pubic Area?

What could a small lump be in my public area, just above and off to the side of the penis. No skin discoloration. No presentation. Jist felt by touch. No pain unless bothering it. Is it something to worry about and will it go away. It s no bigger than a dime.
