What Causes Lumps In The Thigh Skin?

HI! i am 23 years old guy, i noticed i got a small non painful node inside my skin in my left thigh. these days i am scared that reading articles in paper about some kind of nodes and cancer. So doctor please suggest me what is this and it is harmful????

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
These nodes are probably lymph nodes or lipomas and both are benign conditions and you should not worry. It may enlarge due to any infection of the skin or anywhere in your body. If there is no pain, redness pus secretion or fever associated with it,then there is no need to bee concerned. If there will be growth progression or redness, you should do ultrasound with needle aspiration to identify the right causes. Cancer is of course the last thing to think of especially in your age.
