What Causes Lumps In Armpits, Thigh And Groin Area?

It seems that every time I use deodorant or anything to deodorize my arm pits I get a bump a small lump under my arm pits. What could this be? I have also notice this same type of lump between the thigh groin area when I haven t bathed in this area.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
You are having an allergic reaction to the deodorant which causes your lymph node around your armpit to get inflamed. If the same lump is repeated on washing the groin area then some common agent in your deo and soap triggers your inflammation. You can use a hypo-allergenic deodorant for your armpit and a hypo-allergenic intimate wash to wash your groin. Or you can use talcum powder in your armpit which tends to have fewer allergic reactions.

Hope this helps,
