I woke up this morning with a small dark purple spot on the right side of my tongue it felt like a vey small lump it has now grown to a darker purple and twice the size but no lOnger has a lomp in it, it looks like a bad bruise but i didnt do anything or eating anything out of norm. I did quit smoking 6 weeks ago ( after 37 years). The area is not painful. Thank you
