I have been diagnosed with a reactive arthritis. I ve tried multiple immuno-suppressant meds including extensive steroid treatments. I have found reprieve in using Enbrel. the difference is going from disabled and unemployed to functional and 3 jobs. Recently I was diagnosed with a pretty bad case of foliculitis and prescribed Doxycycline. I did not tolerate the medicine well and have since had to quit taking it. Now I have noticed a non-movable lump on the inside of jawline under my chin. The lump doesn t move and it s hard about the size of the eraser on a pencil. it doesn t hurt and it is smooth. I would like to think it is a saliva gland though my brain is running crazy. I have an appointment with my rhuematologist on the 17th which is a less than 2 weeks away. Would it hurt to wait until I see him or should I make an appointment with another doctor? What doctor would be appropriate?
