General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

This lump is most likely a blood collection in the soft tissues (hematoma). Due to some veins rupture and bleeding blood has appeared outside the blood vessels. Large hematoma wont go away by itself. Sooner or later it will become infected and turn into an abscess.
That is why I suggest you to do not wait with it and consult a surgeon. Blood should be drained.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
