What Causes Lower Chest/abdominal Pain During Hypertension?

Hi, my husband has hypertension and has been out of medication for a few months now. He has not been feeling well, and has been experiencing discomfort in his lower chest/abdominal area. The other day when I took his BP it read, 160/120... He also says that he feels hot in the face. Could these symptoms be from the high blood pressure, if so is this an emergency? He is 36 years old about 5-10 height, and weighs about 215

He needs to get medications ASAP. High BP is most likely the cause of his symptoms. Taking medications regularly is very important.
