What Causes Lower Back Pain Radiating Down The Leg?

I have swelling in my back lower severe spine pain lower meaning end of spine. On and of severe stomach pains like stabbing. Pain in my back I ve had for 6 days and runs down my entire left leg. Pain so bad at some points I can t get up or when I do stand up I can t stand straight. Sitting is painful. When I sit I can feel the pain about 8 inches running up left side of spine. Wakes me up EVERY NIGHT! Please help.

Lower back pain may be caused by many medical conditions.Some of these causes may also have digestive manifestations with stomach pain as symptom.Possible causes of lower back pain may include:
-Osteoarthritis of the lower back or hip
-Disc herniation
-Sciatica
-Metastatic abdominal cancer
-And others
I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination and investigations.An abdominal/lower back CT scan or MRI may help identify the cause of the problem.Treatment options for such pain may include: different lines of pain drugs depending on pain intensity, myorelaxants, steroid shots ocassionally, physiotherapy and sugery.Some of these options may be used together for better results.I will advise you try the following:
*Take pain drug like aceclofenac and tramadol
*A myorelaxant like miorel
*Rest well
Then see your Doctor for investiation and other treatment options if this does not help.
