General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The lower back pain and brown vaginal discharge are more likely in concern with vaginal infection and underlying bacteremia causing low-grade fever or malaise to pause the symptoms narrated here.

Kindly get a vaginal swab report done at microbiology lab for further guidelines of antibiotic therapy. Till the time, you can follow certain measures for better recovery as

- drink more liquids
- keep the genitals clean with antiseptic liquid and dry
- wear loose, cotton inner wears
- avoid penetrative sex (if active)
- discuss the need for antifungal medicines with your doc when you discuss the culture report as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
