What Causes Lower Abdominal Discomfort Post A Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy?
Hi there I had laporscopic cholecystectomy 4 days ago I have slight discomfort around the lower abdominal area from where the majority of work was done! Just wondering when it’s ok to enjoy a physical relationship afterwards or if it’s om to engage in some solo action as don’t want to cause any damage or problems Regards Mark
Dear after post lap cholecystectomy pain will be there up to 1-2weeks . but during sitting from lying pain may persist up to 1-2months but 80%of pain will relieve in 1-2weeks. you have to avoid heavy wait lifting, and abdominal crunches exercises. you need to avoid lying in prone position for 1-2weeks.
avoid Constipation by taking plenty of liquid and Fiber. simple activity you can do. if your pain is severe you can use pain killers like Tramadol, paracetamol etc..if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
take care
