What Causes Low Progesterone Levels In Women?

Hello, I have a Mennonite friend who has 2 daughters with low progesterone levels and they cannot conceive. My friend, Fannie, wants me to help her find out why since she cannot have computers. Could you please give me reasons why two of her daughters have low progesterone? She has always fed her children organic food that she has grown and canned. Thank you. Gail

Hello,

In women, other factors include whether you're pregnant and where you are in your menstrual cycle. Progesterone levels fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle. ... Poorly functioning ovaries can cause poor progesterone production. And during menopause, it's natural for estrogen and progesterone levels to fall.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
