What Causes Low Iron, Swollen Lymph Nodes, Sore Throat And Chronic Acne?

My daughter, 18 years old has the following symptoms: low iron, swollen lymph nodes that come and go, sore throat that comes and goes, chronic, moderate acne for last three months (never had before) and sudden onset of extreme pain in both feet/ankles.....

Hi,

She might be suffering from any connective tissue disorder most probably lupus, lupus can have typical finding of low iron, lymphadenopathy and sore throat with fever. Chronic acne is usually an individual finding and can be attributed to hormone imbalance in your daughter. Complete blood work of like ANA and ds DNA is required to rule out any connective tissue disorder.
