General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The fever indicates underlying inflammatory changes at any level either intestine, operative stump, biliary drainage system, liver or else.
A detailed evaluation with series of lab tests, ultrasound of abdomen & pelvis are the golden steps to diagnose and manage in accordance to that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
