What Causes Low Grade Fever Along With Headache And Indigestion?

I started feeling sick and running a fever two days ago. My temp. got as high as 102.for a short time the first night .I m still running a low-grade fever ( 99.5 to 100.0 ) I have the feeling of indigestion almost constantly and I ve had a headache for three days . I have experienced some nausea but its been mild. I ve had no vomiting or diarrhea. I have no appetite, but I have forced myself to eat chicken broth and crackers. I ve been to an urgent care clinic and was tested for the flu but the results were negative. At first I thought I had a case of food poisoning since the flu was ruled out, but now I m not so sure. My wife pulled a tick off of me about 4 or 5 days before I started feeling bad. What do you think could be causing my symptom s? Thanks!

Hello,

I would like to ask you if you were successful to remove the tick as a whole or was that removed in pieces. There may be some allergic reaction to remains of these bugs. You should consult your doctor to get a physical check up of site of bite and tell your doctor about bite so that he can test you for tick born infections and start some treatment for you like doxycycline. If none turns about to be positive, get yourself tested for liver function tests.
