What Causes Low BP, Elevated Pulse Rate And DVT In Femoral Vein?

What could cause a pulse rate of 104-118. Mine is normally between 60-70 but was recently diagnosed with a dvt in my femoral vein and on Coumadin. My bp had been around 140/98 but is now down to 117/85 which is good for me. The superficial part of clot and dvt clot are down and under control but now having high pulse rate and hot flashes, any ideas why?

Hello,

DVT may cause dislodge of thrombus lead to complications. This thrombus may dislodge to pulmonary vasculature lead to pulmonary thrombosis. Pulmonary thrombosis may lead to hypotension, tachycardia and chest pain. Please get it done ECG, echocardiogram and chest X-ray. Get it done colour Doppler of lower limb. If the symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
