General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Leprosy is curable with oral antibiotics and the therapy reduces the risk of complications. Complications are loss of sensation in limbs and low extremity. Nerves involvement may also cause weakness.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Heang Chan Raksmey, General & Family Physician
