Leprosy patient, treated and cured. Will any medical test detect residual effects?

I have a friend who was treated for leprosy and he has been cured. However, he has to undergo a medical test for a visa abroad. Are there any tests to detect active/latent leprosy? Will they know he had leprosy? What are the tests done for that? Like TB scars remain. Does leprosy scars remain and show that she had leprosy?

Hello Sha,
Welcome here on hcm.
When you say she is cured than don't worry there is no cause of concern.
