What Causes Limping And Pain For The First Few Steps Post Femur Repair?

I fell and broke neck of femur eleven months ago. I have a bar in my right femur and a titanium hip. However, when I stand up from sitting position, prior to the first 3 - 4 steps taken, I sense my weight collapsing into my leg, then I limp, and experience pain. Why is this happening feet eleven months recovery?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

Post menopausal bleeding should be thoroughly investigated. The most common causes are: inflammation and thinning of the vaginal lining (atrophic vaginitis) or womb lining (endometrial atrophy) – caused by lower oestrogen levels. cervical or womb polyps – growths that are usually non-cancerous.Cancerous growths should also be ruled out.Pelvic examination,Abdominal ultrasound and Pap smear should be done.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.

Regards
