Hello,

I can understand your concern. All the symptoms you are describing indicate hormonal imbalance in your body. There are many possible reasons that can cause hormonal imbalance like polycystic ovaries, thyroid dysfunction, structural or functional abnormality in uterus/ovaries or possible infection of these organs.

I would advise you to visit a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations like blood tests, ultrasonography etc. to reach a cause of the problem and treat it accordingly.

It is possible that after starting this hormone replacement therapy, you feel no need of continuing psychotropic drugs as the psychological problems you are feeling are associated with hormone imbalance. Do not discontinue though without consulting your prescribing doctor.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
