What Causes Leg Pain After Shock Treatment?

I had shock treatments (3) on June 17 and they did not work. That night the pain in my right leg was horrible. On June 19 I saw DR and he thought it could be a pinched nerve in my back. The x-ray showed no pinched nerve. He also gave me a steroid medicine and it helped at first but no now. I have an appointment tomorrow but was wondering if this is normal to experience pain after shock treatments. Thank you, Ed
