General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to gastritis. Taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole (Nexium) for long term like 4 weeks will be helpful for this. Avoid fatty, fried and junk foods. Carbonated drinks , alcohol and smoking should be avoided. Have light meals at short intervals. Applying hot water bags on abdomen is also soothing. But it is better to rule out cardiac cause of pain by doing an ECG examination to be on safe side

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
