What Causes Late Period While Using Birth Control Pills?
I have been on BC pills for about 10 years I get my period exactly every 28 days. Last week I thought I was at the end of my pack and I got my period that Tuesday as normal, I then realized I didn t take the 3rd week of active pills and missed 2 pills. I took them as directed and had a light period. I now a week later have my period again. Is this normal or should I take a pregnancy test?
One or two misse pills doesn’t cause contraceptive failure and does not recure any backup methods or emergency pills. You can go for a pregnancy test just for reassurance.
