What Causes Large Clot Along With Menstrual Bleeding?

Hello, I am on my period right now and i just checked my pad and there was a large clot on it. I ve never gotten one so solid before as they are usually just runny and jelly like but this was almost a solid, rubbery tongue like thing maybe 1 inch long. I have been researching and it seems like it was just a large clot and nothing serious. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

It is nothing but a clot itself. It can happen especially during heavy periods. If symptoms persist, you can consult a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound scan done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
