What Causes Lack Of Bowel Movements Except After Enema Post Button TURP?

Husband had button turp surgery Tuesday march 28. Normal bowel movements are 2 days. Hasn t gone and went to ER on Friday march 31. Gave him enema and sent home He had about 10 marble sized bm. And at home a little more movement. Taking stool softener and now Miralac for 2 days. Hasn t gone again. Should I get a fleets enema and do this tomorrow. Should I be worried. Not taking any pain meds since surgery . Taking antibiotic

*Take necessary precautions at home with simple measures & then if needed
enema required otherwise not :
- give plenty of liquids preferably boiled water, coconut water, home made
juices, green tea, butter milk etc.
- give more green leafy veg, cereals, curd for better bowel movements.
- avoid smoking / alcohol / any abuse substances if used.
- continue laxative
- do keep ambulatory which is of utmost importance, do regular walking &
some light exercises at home.
- have sound sleep of 8 hours.
- avoid more oily / spicy / nonveg stuffs.
- have more frequent meals at intervals.
