What Causes Knots On Scalp After Using Hair Bleach?

I had my hair bleached this past Saturday and yesterday I noticed some knots that have came up on the back of my head and down to where my hair line starts. They are sore to the touch. The lady that fine my hair. Did fry my hair and damage it and burned my scalp as well.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from hair follicle infection also known as Folliculitis leading to bumps or knots on the hairline and scalp..
On the other hand it can also be due to burning of the scalp with the chemicals present in dye that can further increase chances of infection..
I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation is generally sufficient for diagnosis..
You can be advised topical application of antibiotic and steroid lotion..
You can be advised Oral intake of antibiotics, anti allergics like Levocetrizine and anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..wash the scalp with cold water to sooth it or do cool compresses..
Keep the scalp clean..
