What Causes Knee Pain After A Knee Surgery?

I had arthroscopic meniscus knee surgery a week ago and am still having strong pain in my left knee...right knee is ok although both were done at the same time... I want to take the hydrocdon acetaminophen pill in combo with an antihistamine... diphenhydramine ..... any problem with that ?

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you need to get it evaluated by the primary surgeon who did surgery to rule out any signs of wound or surgical site infection.

Repeat X-ray or MRI may be done. Meanwhile, continue analgesics like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen.
