What Causes Joint And Muscle Pain In Case Of Osteoporosis?

I am a 50 yo female diagnosed with ideopathic osteoporosis at age 34 ( no history of eating disorder ). I have been on fosamax since that time except for a couple of years of holidays. In May, my t-score went down to -2.9 after having switched from prescription to generic fosamax during the prior 2 years. I was put on Actonel 35 in case I was truly failing fosamax . After my first dose I felt like I had the flu- absolutely miserable, so we switched to Actonel 5 mg qd, I am still having horrible joint and muscle aching to the point it is hard to walk at times. Sometimes I wake up at night and cannot straighten my legs without extreme pain. Do I need to talk to my endocrinologist at Duke University first or stop immediately? My Vitamin D levels are normal, I have a nutritious diet, and I get plenty of weight-bearing exercise ( I am a physical therapist and pilates teacher ) . Thank you for any input.

Diet should include all essential nutrients -main diet of fibers ,fruit, veges vitamins & minerals , all antioxidants- raw ginger, garlic , lemon juice with water , bitter gourd juice 20-25 ml Aloe vera juice 25 ml + Amla juice 2 spoons , fenu greek powder 1 spoon with water ,turmeric powder a level spoon with cup of hot milk at bed time ,
Avoid fried , fast foods tea ,coffee ,alcohol ,smoking ,mental stress ,worry anxiety and most important is to clear you bowls . as constipation is mother of all ills .
Last but not the least for proper blood crculation , regular walk , exercise , yoga pranayam-deep breathing proper rest & sound sleep , helps in detoxifying and strengthening the immune system to enhance resistance from diseases and pave way for healthy , happy ,disease free life .
