I consulted gynic and she priscribed me 2 capsules saying that they should be taken with 72 hr gap. I did it and got relieved from the problem for 15 days and again it was started 5 days before my period. Itching is unbearable and it is coming like this from 1 year continusly. Before also it came but only 3 times a year. But now it is coming every month. Please help me. Thank you in advace.
Some women may experience yeast infection with menstruation. The hormonal changes that occur with the period can causes changes in the glucose levels in the vaginal area. This can result in the increase presence of yeast.
If you are having recurrent yeast infection, you may need additional therapy.
When a female has more than 4 infections a yr, they are classified with recurrent vaginal candidiasis. There are different treatment options for this but the course of treatment is longer than what is used when infections are infrequent.
It would be best to speak to your doctor about initiating treatment.
I hope this helps
