What Causes Itchy Throat, Headache And Dizziness On Inhaling Smoke?

I accidentally left the tray to my sons high chair in the oven and turned it on. The tray ended up catching fire and i inhaled a lot of the smoke. I now have an itchy sore throat, a headache, dizziness, and nausea. Is this normal or should I seek help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear thanks for the question.

You have inhaled toxic fumes or smoke. You have got allergy to throat, oesophagus and stomach. Dizziness is due to toxins in your blood in place of oxygen.

You need to visit a hospitsl immediately for assessment of your condition. Your blood oxygen saturation, blood electrolytes, rbc numbers and chest x ray are few initial investigations required for this. If any abnormal result you need to get admitted in intensive care unit till the time your profile improves.

I hope i have clarified your queries. Do write for follow up queries. I wish you rapid recovery. Please rate my reply. Thank you
