Hello, I ve been seeing some itchy red bumps along my back waistline.. Have been working out in a public gym, is this related to any skin disease. I work out kickboxing and aerobic exercises on a mat that is a commonly used by everyone, wondering is it related to bodily secretion of others and what is it called
Hi. As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis. My treatment advice is - 1. Wear loose clothes and maintain good hygiene. 2. Apply a mild antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching. 4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
