What Causes Itchy Rash On Thighs And Upper Back?

I have a rash that just appeared on my upper back on Friday; itching started on Thursday. I also have bumps, some of which are red, on the tops of my thighs and they are itching like crazy too. I haven t changed my diet, so am troubled by what this could be??

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rash on thighs and upper back which seems to be due to contact dermatitis which could be due to detergent, soap, environmental factors.

I would suggest you to avoid going outside in sun as it will exaggerate your symptoms. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe mild corticosteroid ointment along with proper antibiotic course. As of now apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product. Apply calamine lotion at back and avoid pricking rashes.
