What Causes Itching In Urethra Post Sex?
I am a 37 yr old male, about a month ago my girlfriend was cleared to have sex post hysterectomy surgery; a day or 2 after having sex I felt an itch at the tip of my penis in the urethra. It lasted gor 5 days and burn a bit when I urinated. I went to Dr and had STD tests done that all came back negative. Now a month later I woke up urinated fine, but later my girlfriend and I had sex my urethra started to bother me again. I drank a lot of water and ot only lasted 2 days this time. What can this be? I have an appointment with a urologist but can t get in for 3 weeks. Can you advise?

Medical history you provided is strongly suggestive of a Urinary tract infection specially Urethritis which may be caused by bacteria , herpes simplex virus or it may be caused by a STD like gonorrhea and chlamydia
However you are cleared for STD but it is also important to Check your partner for STD
apart from this we can not deny the possibilities of other medical conditions including- Orchitis, Prostatitis ,Injury ,Allergic Reaction and It needs thorough medical checkup and investigation to spot a confirm diagnosis
I would strongly suggest you to visit your Urologist , he will examine you thoroughly and may go for an Urinalysis and urine culture with all other necessary medical investigations to rule out any underlying medical condition
