Hi, I can understand your concern. Even my baby had the same problem when she was teething. When infants or toddlers are teething, they have all these unwanted symptoms like irregular bowel movement, sometimes loose stools, sometimes constipation, some babies get cold, cough, fever, irritation around the gums, red and swollen gums, drooling saliva, crankiness, refusing to take feeds. However it differs from one baby to other. There are babies whose teething are absolutely effortless or symptomless. If you feel it is not teething symptoms, not to worry as long as baby is active and gaining weight. Infant s stool are also depended on the food the eat. There is no harm in giving probiotics.
