I recently had my ears gauges at half a inch, they were fine until I decided to remove them, when I did and they closed my ears began to itch badly and my earlob skin got dry and hard. They are a bit swollen but mainly itchy and skin is dry. What is wrong and what should I put on it to help healing, thx you
The symptoms seem to be related to a a fungal infection. I recommend to use an anti-fungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream. I also recommend to use an anti-fungal medication such as Fluconazole 150 mg once. I recommend to maintain a good hygiene.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
