What Causes Irregularity In Menstrual Flow?

I had my period on the 19th of this month ans it ended on the 24th but then I started bleeding again on 26th and it went away on the 27th in the afternoon. Me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse on Saturday and I seen blood on my panty but when I went to wipe there was nothing and I havent been bleeding since yesterday?

Sometimes, end of the menstrual period can be delayed and some spotting is often observed a couple of days after the end of bleeding. Apart from this, if you observe recurrent spotting especially after an intercourse, you need to go for a proper clinical examination. Local causes like an erosion of the cervix, polyps of the endometrium and the cervix and infections should be checked for. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
