What Causes Irregular Sleep Patterns?

Mother who is 88 years old, can fall asleep any time of day, for any amount of time. Sleeps at night but no more than 2 hours at a time. Snacks often.....on sweets ( chocolate ) and wheat thins crackers. Otherwise a normal diet of 3 meals a day with family.

It may be due to old age.
If possible, do some household work and walking.
Don sleep immediately after food.
Take very light diet.
Take fresh fruits and veg with pulses and eggs more.
You can also consult your physician for help.
After consulting, you can take tablet lorazepam 1 mg at night.
