What Causes Irregular Periods And Yellow Vaginal Discharge?

Hi, I have been trying for a baby for 2yrs now and at a point of giving up. I cant afford IVF treatment which is heartbreaking as i would like another child. I started experiencing irregular periods late last yr and only found out i hv an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. I also noticed that i dont get the EWCM around day 12-18 of ovulation window. Instead i get a yellowish odoured discharge. I dont hv any sores or sti s and not sure whats causing the smell and discharge.i am scared that i hv stopped ovulating altogether. Im 29 yrs wth 2 children aged 10 & 8

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation first. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin level. You can take some medicines like clomiphene for growth of follicles and track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound. When follicles reach a size more than 17 to 18 mmm, take injection for rupture of follicles. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks after rupture is confirmed on ultrasound. Do a urine pregnancy test after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 cycles.
