Hi,
Irregular periods and different bleeding patterns can be signs of peri-menopause. Menopause usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55.The time period before menopause is called peri-menopause.
During this time, the hormones estrogen and
progesterone are in flux. Your levels will fluctuate from month to month. These shifts can be erratic, affecting ovulation and the rest of your cycle. It is important to underline that the chance of conceiving naturally around the perimenopause is very low, due to the low number and quality of eggs available.
To increase the
fertility, can be used some medications like clomid ,an oral medication or some inject-able hormones. These treatments increase FSH levels, prompting the body to release more than one egg each month and these increase the possibility of pregnancy.
Brown or dark brown spoting for more than 10 days and change in changes in discharge texture can be signs of peri-menopause but can also be a sign of an
vaginal infection. My advice is to consult physically a local
OBGYN for the right diagnosis and treatment.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
