What Causes Irregular Menstruation After Tubal Ligation?

Hi I m a 32 year old woman. I had my tubes tied 11 years ago. My period has been irregular since. They come about every two and a half weeks. Well as normal I get my period this time and it s light pink colored blood. I am having the menstrual cramps like I do when it s heavy, this time there is a headache associated with tge cramps.Just wondering what i should do?

Hi, I think getting irregular periods should be evaluated. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries. These will help in finding the cause of irregular periods. Headache can be a menstrual symptom. You can take paracetamol 500 mg for that.
