What Causes Irregular Menstrual Cycles?
I have been having an irregular menstrual cycle for 12 days now. I normally only bleed for 3-4 days each month. What the heck is going on? My last pap was slightly abnormal but I was told to wait a year and come back. I am 45 years old, exercise regularly, eat clean. I don t smoke and rarely drink. I am not taking any medications

I really appreciate your concern. You are nearly of menopausal age. Irregular menstrual cycles at the age of 45 could be due to major hormonal changes in the body. It is quite normal clinical picture in pre-menopausal women. There is nothing to worry about it. Do have your pap smear done at regular interval as suggested by your local doctor.
