What Causes Intermittent Light Pink And Brown Spotting?

Hi, I m 15 and I ve never had my period before but for the past two days, only in the afternoon and at night, after I urinate there s blood. Sometimes it light pink, sometimes it s brown and gooey, and sometimes there is just streaks of bright red blood on the toilet paper. Please help!

Thanks for letting us know your health concern. I have gone through your query and here are some suggestions. In the current scenario, it is likely that you are into your menarche or onset of menstruation. Brown discoloration occurs when there is a collection of blood in the uterine cavity for sometime. Else, breakthrough bleeding due to irregular shedding of the endometrium also can be a cause. Please make sure the blood is not issuing either through urine or stool. Please inform your health care provider for further care. Wish you good health.
