What Causes Intermittent Abdominal Pain After Having A Hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy and reconstructive surgery with a bladder sling last June. I started having pains in my lower abdomin recently that are on the left side about where my pelvic bone is but does not radiate anywhere. The pain feels more like a twisting almost like a contraction and it just comes and goes. Sometimes it feels more like cramps and other times more like the contractions. Your thoughts....
